Our dogs have been seen by millions on “Colorado Getaways”, “The Learning Channel”, and “The Today Show”.
General information: We run on a private trail in Wolcott, 10 miles west of Beaver Creek. The sleds will take you through glades of Aspen and Pine trees. We often see wildlife including fox, coyote, deer and elk. One morning and one afternoon tour depart daily. Six sleds go out with each trip. Two people per sled. Age limit is 4 years old. Weight limit is 400 pounds per sled. You will not be allowed on the sleds if you do not meet the weight limit. No exceptions. If you want to have 2 adults and 1 small child or 1 adult and 2 small kids or 3 kids on a sled the third person is an additional charge.

Winterhawk offers the total dogsledding experience. We offer trips for families, special occasions, private parties and large groups. We have something for everyone.
Enjoy crisp mountain air and breathtaking views while gliding silently down the trail behind a team of Alaskan Huskies. Snuggle up under the warm wool blankets and let an experienced guide do all the work or get on the runners and drive the sled. This tour requires no experience and no specific level of fitness. The minimum age for children is 3 years and there is a 350 pound weight limit with any combination of passengers per sled.
