Mountain Tours of Vail
Vail Complimentary Ski/Snowboard Tour
During the winter season, Community Guest Service volunteers provide complimentary tours of Vail Mountain for any guest whose ability level is intermediate or above.
General Mountain Tours, available Sunday – Friday, leaves promptly at 10:30am from the Top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola (Gondola 19) at Eagle’s Nest. It is highly recommended to get to either location by 10:15 as each participant will be required to sign a liability release form before the tour. Each tour is considered a “Familiarization Tour” of the mountain and should last about 2 hours. Recommended Intermediate Skier/Rider or above.
The Blue Sky Basin tour, available Sunday – Friday, leaves promptly at 10:30am from the Legacy Hut, Top of Chair 4. Please arrive at Henry’s Hut by 10:15 to sign a release form. This tour is recommended for High level intermediate or above skiers or riders.
Women’s Winter Adventure Tours are available Monday and Wednesday, leaves promptly at 10:00am from the Legacy Hut, Top of Chair 4. Advanced Intermediate or above Ladies only.
Legacy Tours are available Tuesday and Thursdays, leaving from the Legacy Hut, Top of Chair 4 at 1:00pm. Recommended Intermediate Skier/Rider or above.
