The condo is directly across the street from the public (-paid) lionshead parking. The condo has everything you need and was the perfect size for the 2 of us. You could put a 3rd on the couch but it's tight. Even though there is only 1/2 size fridge there is a full set of kitchen ware, dishes, pots n pans, etc. Even an outdoor grill on the deck. Super clean! Everyone was really friendly and helped with anything we needed. I'd recommend this place!

Easy transaction. Met our needs perfectly. My wife and I stayed in the sizable bedroom. One of our friends drove up from Boulder to ski with us and slept on the pull out couch in the living room. He is quite tall and said that it was way more comfortable than you’d think! Used the living room fireplace to warm up, escape a chill, dry out our boots, and for ambiance. The kitchen is functional. We made breakfast each day there. We hit the slopes by 8:30a. Easy 5-10 min walk down to the Gondola. The community hot tub was right out our front door. Definitely used to rest our weary ski muscles. And lots of cool people to meet along the way there too. Highly recommend. Good bang for the buck unit!

Location - good, walking distance to gondola and restaurants. Beds (sofa and bedroom) - firm (we didn't prefer this but some people do) Shower - water pressure good, water warms quickly. No TV in the bedroom Extra blankets, heater, and fans provided. This condo has a shared entry, it was a bit confusing at first but we figured it out.

We have enjoyed staying at this property for a couple days - it's very clean, cozy, well stocked and the building itself is quite nice. Free parking is a great bonus as parking at Vail could be a struggle to find. The pool at the building was warm and clean and kids loved to play there. The building is 3 minutes away from gondola and 1 minute away from a free bus to another side of town. We loved the place and would come again, if opportunity presents. The only word of warning - the unit faces the road and is very close to highway, so the car noise is constant. If you have trouble sleeping, you might be bothered by it - we weren't.

I have stayed in Vail many times. Grest location for the price. Short 2-3 min walk to Lionshead gondola or lift. Property is exactly as described and pics are spot on. Plenty of cooking gear, and always nice to have a humidifier for those of us not used to the drier air.

The unit was perfectly suited for my circumstances. It was very clean and close to the Chair lifts and gondola. The kitchen faucet was leaking but upon notification was promptly replaced. Also an issue which I left a voicemail for was the light above the entry door outside of the vestibule and the light inside the vestibule above the 209 door we’re both out. Difficult to key in the entry code without a flashlight. I’m sure this will be fixed quickly.

Very clean, well equipped kitchen, new carpet, comfy sofa and chair. The property is so close to the highway, we couldn’t leave the window or slider open at night to cool the condo because of the noise. Wouldn’t be an issue during ski season. Suggestions to make it even better: -screen door on the slider so it can be opened in the evening to help with cooling -seating for the balcony -more hangers. There were only 10 provided for 2 people staying 7 days

t's an incredible INCREDIBLE location. The place itself was very cozy and served it's purpose. It's a convenient walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondola for skiing and a short 1-2 minute walk to the local market. I stayed 7 nights and honestly wished for staying that length of time that it would have been included in the stay that fresh towels and at least a change in fresh linens would have been offered. It wasn't a deal breaker just a desired wish. Hot tub was hot and amazing to enjoy after a long day of skiing. Thanks for the cozy condo feel!

The stay was seamless and wonderful. Appreciate the great parking and the ability to stay parked on check out day in order to snowboard another half day. This made a great impression. The unit itself was a bit smaller than I had hoped and darker. But.....it was clean, we enjoyed the neighbors in the hot tub, not having to use a key, rather using a keypad to get in and out. We appreciated the rolling luggage carriers, the elevator, and most of all the proximity to the Gondola in Lionshead. We will come back next year. The walk to Vail Village was just right at night to work up an appetite, and then to walk off a few calories after dinner. Perfect stay, thank you.

Excellent location, across the street from the town shuttle and quick easy walk to the gondola and ticket booths, Small but nicely equipped mini kitchen. Hot tubs short distance away, don’t forget your flip flops and robe in winter! Keyless entry makes check in/ check out and getting in and out a breeze. My husband and I used it for a quick ski get away without the kids were very pleased.

Although the unit is small it is more than enough space for two. The location is great and the unit is well maintained and very clean. The water heater could be slightly bigger, as is we sometimes had to cut showers shorter and pause between showers.

My wife and I got in late on a Friday night due to flight delays. We did the check-in process online prior to arriving, which made it very nice and easy to walk directly into the unit on an already late and tiring night. We found the location to be pretty good for the great rates they were offering. Everything you need is at your fingertips and within walking distance - Lifts, restaurants, shuttle to Vail village, shopping, ski rentals, etc. We loved our trip and would definitely do it again! My son and I planned a last minute spring ski trip and booked VP #209. This is an older building but this unit has been remodeled and is a nice comfortable, convenient place to stay. Everything worked in the unit and it was very close to Lionshead. The rental agency was very easy to work with and provided good instructions as to how to get there and how to check in.

Location: great close to ski lifts, negative close to highway Problem with the cable ( would have been nice to have had a response regarding my call on Saturday morning). Great little unit. Very convenient to Lionshead (very short walk) and the Vail Cascade where my meetings were. Pool area was convenient and well kept. This unit is small but for 1 or 2 people it is great. Underground parking is nice. Lots of postings outside that renters can't use pool facilities but nobody asked and I ignored! Close to the shopping at the west end of Vail.

Suprisingly comfy, somewhat limited kitchen

For 2 people, this is a decent option close to the slopes (5 min walk). While there is a sofa bed, space would probably be too cramped for 3-4 people, and dining actually only seats 3 anyway. For 2, this actually is reasonably comfy, and with the balcony, the space "feels" larger than 425 sq ft. One thing to note for those planning to eat in: kitchen is more of a kitchenette. The fridge is a half-sized unit with a freezer the size of 2 cereal boxes (kind of like what you'd buy for a dorm room), and oven is a combo microwave-convection oven unit. If you just plan to eat-in one simple meal a day as we did, it's no problem, but fridge space would be an issue if you're planning to do a lot of eating in. Flat-screen TV's a bit small and has limited viewing angle, but free wireless internet is a bonus.

This worked out really well. I had a meeting at the Marriott. Their reduced meeting rate of $309 plus $20 for parking was quite gracious by them, but VP was less. Plus I got a kitchen, a dining room table, and a small living room. And the Lionshead Gondola was closer.

We are accustomed to studio rentals being only one room. This studio has a separate bedroom and bathroom plus a balcony with barbecue grill. We enjoyed the additional space, and the furnishings were quite comfortable and attractive. The entrance hall walls are bizarre and apartment walls are faux wood and stone and take getting used to. The apartment is well stocked, particularly the kitchen. The place needs more light. We had to buy higher wattage bulbs. The summer season requires opening the sliding glass doors (to the balcony), and highway traffic noise is a problem. With the doors shut, the apartment is quiet. LionsHead has been transformed into a lovely European-like village, and the location of the building is excellent except for the mentioned proximity to the Interstate highway.

Great unit. A bit small at 425 sq ft - but that's all a couple needs! Nice comfortable living/kit area. Great gas grill on balcony. Comfy bedroom w/ lots of storage shelves / drawers. Short walk in ski boots to gondola. Walk right past ski shops, food, apres bars etc. thru the heart of Lionshead. The complex's hot tub is at bottom of stairs. Free covered parking. We ski A LOT and price is a concern (the more economical we are = more out west trips per year). This is a very nice unit for the price and location. We would rent it again. Only negative was room temp was too hot - so we opened the window or slider a bit & things were fine.

  • No Pets: Pets are not allowed in residences (*see exceptions). A minimum of $500 will be charged if pets or evidence of pets are discovered. If a pet is discovered during your stay you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given for remaining nights.   • No Parties: Renter agrees to not have or permit any party in the residence or on a related area such as a lawn, driveway, porch, patio, or balcony.
  • Noise: Between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am noise levels must be reduced to ensure everyone's rest and relaxation. Please be considerate of your neighbors. Music, TVs, conversations, including hot tub areas, should be kept at a level inaudible by other residences. Fines for violations start at $250 and will be assessed to the guest on the primary reservation confirmation.
  • Each home has an occupancy level based on actual bedding. Some homes can accommodate additional people for an additional $55 per night.
  • Parking: Properties have limited parking spaces and availability. Each garage has clearance restrictions. Please plan accordingly. You can visit our website for parking accommodations for the property you reserved, or email our office for more information prior to your arrival. There are parking fees that apply to the Ritz Carlton rentals. Parking passes required in many parking lots. FOR ALL PROPERTIES, PARKING VIOLATIONS WILL INCUR A MINIMUM FINE OF $100 OR MORE PER VEHICLE PER DAY.
  • Shipping of any items. DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING TO THE RESIDENCE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT! We are not responsible for any lost or missing items that are shipped to the residence or our office.  For luggage please refer to the following information: 8110 Shipping & Storage Solutions [https://www.bhhsvail.com/guest-services/shipping/]: Airline travel is challenging enough these days. Let 8110 Storage take all of that hassle away. Ship your gear before you leave, and let 8110 Storage deliver it to your door when you get here! For any other items, you can use the UPS offices (there may be a fee) located in West Vail [ph. (970) 476-3292, 2121 N Frontage Rd W, Vail, Colorado 81657] OR Avon [ph. (970) 949-0615, 150 E Beaver Creek Blvd A102, Avon, CO 81620].
  • Internet: If you rely upon internet & wifi service, please keep in mind to provide for your own hotspot/wifi connection. We rely solely upon local service providers so the timing of servicing for an outage/equipment failure is at their discretion though they attempt to be as prompt as possible. Wifi access instructions will be provided in our Guest Portal and is in the rental property.
  • Home Electronics: If any wiring, electronics, or settings are altered by the guest or anyone in the party, then a fee starting at $100 per hour will be billed to your payment method on file for an A/V technician to correct and repair. This includes but is not limited to settings and wiring changes caused by adding your own devices to TV inputs, as well as missing batteries from remotes or any other device in the residence.
  • Furniture, furnishings, appliances, and other items within vacation rental properties: All vacation residences are privately owned, and, as such, are furnished by, and used by, the respective rental property owners. Therefore, guests are not permitted to relocate any furniture, furnishings, appliances, and/or other items located throughout the vacation residence. Further, any television/cable remote control devices or ceiling fan remote control devices must be returned to the room or rooms where they were originally found. If furniture, furnishings, appliances and/or other items are relocated by the guest or others, the guest will be assessed for all charges to replace the respective items to the original location.
  • Repairs: Although each vacation residence is inspected prior to guest arrivals, there may be items that could require attention during the guest stay. If any item(s) that may require repair are discovered during inspection and/or guest occupancy, the guest is requested to contact the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices office.
  • Amenities: Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices cannot guarantee that all amenities (pools, hot tubs, coffee makers, etc.) will be in working condition. We will attempt to repair broken amenities as quickly as possible depending on third party vendor and parts availability. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices does not have control over when an amenity may malfunction. Accordingly, no full and/or partial refunds whatsoever will be provided to the registered guest. ALL AMENITIES ARE USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Please inspect each amenity prior to using. Should any problems be determined please do not use and promptly contact us.
  • Lockouts: Should the guest and/or any occupant(s) lock themselves out of their rental residence and a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices representative is dispatched to unlock said property, a service fee will be assessed to the guest.
  • Minimum required age of primary renter is 25 years or older.
  • We take a zero-tolerance approach to charge back fraud. Further, in the event of any unmerited charge back request, We reserve the right to recover monies by any legitimate means available to Us, including using a third-party debt collection agency or any other lawful means to recover funds successfully charged back to You in such circumstances.
ASSUMPTION OF RISKS. There are risks inherent in and associated with the use of any property, including the rental property, which may include risks of injury to person or property, or death. Certain risks may be more likely to occur in high altitude locales with severe climates, such as where the rental property is located. Call the rental company immediately if there is any matter about which you are uncertain or which you believe may present an unreasonable risk to you. Risks which may be inherent to the rental property and the location in which it is located may include, without limitation: wet, slippery, or icy conditions both inside and out; falling snow or ice; exposure to a virus or COVID-19, being in proximity of, or use of, a swimming pool, bathtub or hot tub including without limitation risks of, drowning, heart attack, stroke or reactions to pool or cleaning chemicals; allergic or other reaction to cleaning or "freshening" products; allergic or other reaction to manmade and synthetic materials; actions of third parties not under the control of the property manager or unit owner; theft of, or damage to, personal property; electric shock or other injury in the use, or misuse, of any electric appliance or mechanical devise; risk of injury in the use of garbage disposals, trash compactors, steam showers, saunas and other similar appliances. Pregnant females (or women who suspect they may be pregnant) may be subject to particular risks and should consult a physician before using a hot tub or spa. Alcohol and other state-altering substances should not be used in or around a pool, hot tub, bath tub or sauna. The rental guests assume these risks, whether enumerated or not, known or unknown, on their own behalf and on behalf of any person under any legal incapacity for whom the rental guests may be responsible. Guests will be charged for the following items below if applicable:
  1. Repair or replacement cost of broken or missing items.
  2. Repair costs for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  3. Any requested incidental charges incurred by me or my party during our stay.
  4. $25 for each unit key NOT returned upon my departure. I understand keys can be left in the unit.
  5. $500 minimum should smoking occur in the unit.
  6. Steam cleaning of carpet and furniture should I or any of my guests or party bring a pet or pets into the property. I understand that no pets are allowed inside the property being rented by me.
  7. A fee will be charged for last minute, and/or unapproved early check-ins or late check-outs.
